Release agents
We represent the global release agent manufacturer Chem-Trend, that focuses their production and development on release agents for the mould, rubber, polyurethane, tire, thermoplastic and composite industries.
Our release agent selection includes a variety of water and solvent-based products that are used for i.a. casting and moulding applications. We supply products to suit a wide variety of industries, including anything from sink bowls to airplanes.
A thin layer of liquid release agent applied to the mould surface will harden (polymerize) quickly and form a hard, dry, and resistant release membrane. In general, they are utilized for manufactured product release and non-stick applications. Release agents should be used in a relative humidity of at least 30 %. In drier conditions the drying time will lengthen ten-fold or otherwise moisture must be added. Chem Trend’s release agents are easy to use, help protect moulds, and lengthen the mould’s lifespan.
