Moulding silicones

Silicones

Kevra imports a large selection of 2-component (RTV-2) and 1-component (RTV-1) silicones. Both can be used in room temperature. The silicones are divided into condensation curing and addition curing types.

RTV-2 silicones are used especially by the electronics industry. The moulded silicone is flexible and endures chemicals well. It is also a good electricity insulator, shrinks very little and endures high temperatures. Insulator, humidity shield and sealant are common applications for these silicones. We also have gel silicones, lathering silicones etc.

When choosing an RTV-2 silicone, the following properties should be taken into account: hardness (Shore A), viscosity, colour, tear strength, curing time and curing type.

RTV-2 silicone as moulding materialpatsas1

– Easy to work, no high temperatures or pressure needed.
– Good long-lasting elasticity
– Small shrinkage
– No mould release agent required.
– Thoroughly copies all small details on the mould surface.
– Endures high temperatures (200°C long-term, 350°C short-term)
– Safe to use and doesn’t cause environmental problems.

Silicone adhesive

Kevra offers silicone adhesives for different applications, when an elastic and good adhesive is needed. Cured silicone can be really difficult to glue, but we also have products for that. Ask more!

Our selection of goods also includes ancillary products for silicones, for example primers, silicone oils and thickening materials.
