Glass fiber reinforcements
The majority (99 %) of concurrently produced fiber glass is E-glass type, of which our warehouse selection is entirely comprised. It has good mechanical, electrical, and chemical resistant properties.
Glass fiber is largely used in the plastic-reinforcement industry. In addition, it is used in weaving, PVC carpets, wallpaper, as well as load-bearing glass fiber felts for bituminous roofing materials.
Staple fibers, fabrics and multiaxial weaves are usually used for reparation purposes. However, staple fibers are never used together with epoxies!
